It’s another new year. Enjoy 2025 with a blend of culture and organization. The Fante 2025 Calendar is here to help you plan your year while celebrating the rich heritage of the Fante people. Designed with cultural highlights, important dates, holidays as prescribed by the government of Ghana through the Ministry of Interior, and stunning visuals.
The 2025 Fante Calendar, created by Ghanalingo’s Ebenezer Kobinah Offen, is packed with remarkable features that celebrate Fante heritage. One of its standout elements is the depiction of the historic Cape Coast Castle, a monumental structure established by the Portuguese in 1555, located in the Central Region of Ghana.
This iconic landmark, prominently displayed on the calendar, symbolizes the rich cultural and historical identity of the Fante people. As Cape Coast, the capital of Mfantseman, holds a central place in Fante heritage, the castle serves as a proud emblem of Fante’s legacy.
The calendar displays the twelve months in Fante, following the structure of the Gregorian calendar. It also includes the initials of the seven days of the week. The year 2025 is boldly displayed within the image of the Cape Coast Castle.
An interesting feature of the calendar is the inclusion of various holidays officially declared by the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of the Interior. These holidays are clearly marked with a brownish colour for easy reference.
Schools, corporate organizations, institutions and people who wish to download and print the calendar in hardcopy format have full permission to do so. The digital version of the 2025 Fante Calendar is available for free download below:
