Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, born on November 4, 1999, is an American linebacker who is currently playing for the Cleveland Browns in the NFL. He had a standout college football career with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, earning the prestigious Butkus Award, being recognized as the ACC Defensive Player of the Year, and achieving unanimous All-American honors during his senior year in 2020. The Browns drafted Owusu-Koramoah in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah has a strong connection to Ghana through his father’s lineage. During a visit to Ghana in 2023, he paid homage to Osagyefuo Nana Amoatia Ofori Panin, the Okyehene, the 35th traditional ruler of the Akyems who are Akans. During this visit, Owusu-Koramoah filmed a documentary where they discussed the mission of NKWA and the future of Ghana’s youth with His Majesty Osagyefuo Nana Amoatia Ofori Panin. This visit suggests that Jeremiah might have ties to the Akyem people, further deepening his connection to his Ghanaian roots.
